Lace has been everywhere lately, which made me curious about where it comes from and how it’s made. I went on a bit of a lace history deep dive (see the video below) and wanted a simple, effective way to bring that inspiration into my wardrobe. Even if you’ve never sewn before, this project is very approachable, I walk you through it step by step. With just one small change, my skirt felt completely transformed!

• Skirt of your choice, bonus if you already own it

• Lace trim (I recommend matching the color but if you prefer a contrasted look, go for it!)
